HEAD PIZZA CHEF

Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria - Perth, WA

Salary: $80,000 - $90,000/year Type: Full-Time Start Date: Immediate or flexible for the right candidate

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Pizza Chef for a busy and well-established Italian restaurant and pizzeria in Perth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in authentic Italian pizza making and be confident taking responsibility for the pizza section, maintaining consistency and quality during busy services while working closely with the rest of the kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pizza section during preparation and service.

• Prepare and cook authentic Italian pizzas to consistently high standards.

• Manage dough preparation and ensure quality and consistency.

• Organise daily preparation and maintain an efficient workstation.

• Monitor ingredients, stock levels and ordering requirements.

• Maintain high food safety, hygiene and presentation standards.

• Support and train other members of the pizza and kitchen team.
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef, ideally in a senior or leadership position.

• Strong knowledge of traditional Italian pizza-making techniques and dough preparation.

• Ability to manage a busy section efficiently during high-volume service.

• Strong attention to quality, consistency and presentation.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Passion for authentic Italian food and quality ingredients.
