Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 Type: Full-time, long-term opportunity Start date: Flexible for the right candidate

Our client is a well-established and much-loved Italian restaurant in one of Perth’s most vibrant neighbourhoods.Known for its loyal clientele and high standards, the venue is now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen team and bring fresh energy to the menu and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

– Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations

– Oversee food preparation and presentation, maintaining high standards

– Design and update menus in collaboration with the owners

– Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage stock levels

– Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

– Train and mentor junior kitchen staff

Requirements:

– Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role

– Strong background in Italian cuisine

– Excellent communication and team management skills

– Deep understanding of kitchen operations and cost control

– Passion for fresh ingredients, creativity, and consistency

– Ability to work under pressure and lead by example
